Elco (formerly Filippa K) Sustainability Director | Stockholm
ACFC 2019 Speaker
Then Sustainability Director at Filippa K, since 2011, Elin had been with the brand since 1996 in a vast range of roles. The responsible ethos of the stylish brand runs deep.
Elin describes her journey with Filippa K. as a long and windy road. She first joined the company as a receptionist after meeting a Maj-La Pizzelli who was then product developer, at a Christmas Party.
She postponed her studies and didn’t look back and worked her way up to Sustainability Director in 2011. After a long stint of twenty-two years with the company she set out to start her own business Elco last November.
“To develop circular garments, all impacts & aspects during full lifecycle are taken into account & optimised based upon pre-determined life lengths.”
Driven by a passion for finding sustainable solutions for business and society and for creating change together with people in the whole ecosystem, Eloc is described as a ‘change-makers hub’ – a strategic advisory company for sustainability and circularity. It is the manifestation of Elin’s personal drive to create a change for the better, to find solutions on how to run a fair and successful business within the planetary boundaries.
There is nothing that satisfies her more than working together with creative and brave people that are experts within their field and together with them find new solutions and expand the business.
