In his experience, investors need to call for greater transparency from public companies over the sourcing of clothing, footwear and textiles from Asia, chasing cheap labour to push down costs can backfire and ultimately damage a brand’s reputation.
Måns joined Ausbil as Head of ESG Research in September 2015. Prior to that, he was Senior ESG Research Analyst at AMP Capital for almost five years, following positions at Carnegie Investment Bank, Macquarie Bank and Accenture.

With a decade of experience in the investment industry, including eight years in various responsible investment and ESG roles, Måns is well known for producing and presenting consistent, high-quality ESG research, highly regarded insight papers on a wide range of ESG issues. Måns is a member of the Retailer Supplier Roundtable Sustainability Council’s Forced Labour Advisory Council and the PRI Australia Network Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Human Rights Working Group of RIAA (Responsible Investment Association Australasia).
Måns holds an MBA International with Distinction from Griffith University and a Master of Financial Management from Gothenburg School of Business.
