Yianni built his knowledge of the fashion industry in his 16 years of retail experience as well as working behind the scenes as a stylist, personal shopper at Topshop, visual merchandiser and production assistant.

Straight out of his RMIT University Clothing & Production course, Yianni started his own womenswear label which launched at Australian Fashion week in 2008 as part of the New Generation show alongside names like Dion Lee and Michael LoSordo. He also enjoyed some commercial success in Japan appearing in Nylon Japan several times as well as Art Australia Magazine, Fashion Journal, Pol Oxygen and Russh.

He later went on to work at Stylesight for 2 years before joining the team at WGSN where he now is responsible for training WGSN’s clients across the region presenting on key trends and supporting them on their design and retail strategies.

He has also been a key note speaker for the last 3 years at WGSNs trend events presenting to over 200 clients and prospects from the industry on future and seasonal trends.
